At Petit Bateau US, we understand that finding the perfect fit and style for your little ones is important. That's why we offer hassle-free returns within 10 days of your purchase.

Shipping costs on returns/exchanges are the buyer's responsibility unless the return/exchange is due to defects in manufacturing or you received the incorrect item.

Petit Bateau reserves the right to refuse any return if they do not meet our return requirements.

 

Returns:

Eligibility: We accept returns within 10 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it, with all original tags attached.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from PetitBateau.US, you can return your item(s) for a full refund within 10 days of purchase, less than a 15% restocking fee. (Returns must be unworn, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.)

Process: To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Service team at customerservice@petitbateau.us to request a return. Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return in your request.

Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Inspection and Approval: Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item(s) for compliance with our return policy. If the return is approved, we will process your refund.

 

Refunds:

The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.

Refund Processing: Once we receive and process your return, we will refund your account from the original method you have used to purchase for the entire product amount less the 15% restocking fee. (NOTE: we do not refund or credit shipping charges. Shipping charges are the customer's responsibility).

All returned items incur a 15% restocking fee.

Refunds will be processed within the date we receive your approved return. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Partial Refunds: If the returned item(s) show signs of use, damage, or missing tags, we may issue a partial refund at our discretion.

 

Exchanges:

Unfortunately, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or item, please follow the return process and place a new order on our website.

 

Damaged or Defective Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order including a photo as a proof. We will provide instructions for returning the item and will either send a replacement or issue a refund, depending on your preference.

Non-Returnable Items:

Certain items are non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons, including but not limited to underwear, swimwear, and accessories. Please ensure you review the product before making a purchase.

 

Gift Purchase Return and Exchange Policy

At Petit Bateau US, we understand the importance of choosing the perfect gift for the little ones in your life. We want to ensure that both the gift giver and the recipient have a seamless experience with our store. Therefore, we've developed a dedicated return and exchange policy for situations where the receiver of a gift wishes to exchange the clothing items.

Eligibility for Exchange: If you've received the item as a gift and wish to exchange any item(s) for a different size, color, or style, you are eligible for an exchange. To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:

The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it, with all original tags attached.

The exchange request must be initiated within 10 days of the original purchase.

Exchange Process: To initiate an exchange, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer support team at customerservice@petitbateau.us to inform us about your intention to exchange the items.
  • Provide the order number and the details of the items you wish to exchange.
  • Our customer support team will guide you through the process of returning the items and selecting the replacements.
  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
  • Once we receive the returned items and confirm their condition, we will process the exchange and ship the replacement items to you promptly.

Store Credit: We will offer you a store credit for the value of the returned items. This credit can be used towards any future purchase from our store within 6 months from the date it was issued. It's a convenient way to choose the perfect items at your own pace.

Shipping Costs: For exchanges due to gift preferences, the cost of returning the items and shipping the replacements will be covered by the customer.
